Coaching terms

Written in plain words on purpose. They say what you get, what it costs, how to leave, and where my boundaries are, so neither of us has to guess.

What you get

Six months of coaching with me, Gary Lougher (2nd Ascent Coaching, LLC).

13 sessions, an hour each, about every two weeks.

E-mail between sessions, whenever something comes up.

Spot calls. These are quick five-minute calls for when something can’t wait until our next session. Ask for one and I’ll respond within 24 hours.

What it costs

The founding rate is for my first five clients. Choose either way to pay:

$3,250 up front for the six months, or

$275 a session, paid when you book each one. Over 13 sessions that comes to $3,575.

If you want to stop

You can leave at any time, for any reason.

If you paid up front: you pay $275 for each session we’ve had, and I refund the rest within seven days. For example, if you leave after 4 sessions, I keep $1,100 and send you $2,150. After session 12 there is nothing left to refund.

If you pay by session: you simply stop. You owe nothing more.

My boundaries

I don’t expect to use most of these. I’m naming them now so they’re never a surprise.

Missed sessions. If you miss a session without telling me at least 24 hours ahead, I reserve the right to charge for it. That means it counts as one of your 13.

Late starts. If you’re late, I reserve the right to shorten the session by that amount, so we end at the scheduled time.

Spot calls. I reserve the right to end spot calls if they are misused or become excessive.

Coaching, not therapy. Coaching is not therapy or medical care. I reserve the right to suggest a therapist or doctor if something comes up that needs one.

Ending our work. I reserve the right to end our work together if it isn’t working. If I do, the same refund applies.

Building your EchoSystem

I build your EchoSystem as we go, at no extra charge. It is a private, living document that holds the patterns you’re carrying and where each one stands, the questions you’re living with, the voices you’ve chosen to guide you, your music, and your daily practice. By the end it is yours.

This part of the work is new. I reserve the right to change how I build it as we learn what works.

Between us

I keep what you tell me private.

Paying means you have read these terms and agree to them.
